The Millimeter: My Most Controversial Thriller Is Now Available
I'm excited—and a bit nervous—to announce that The Millimeter is now available.
This is, without question, the most controversial book I've ever written. And that's saying something.
The Premise
On July 13, 2024, a bullet flew toward Donald J. Trump at 2,600 feet per second. In our world, it missed by a millimeter. In this novel, it doesn't.
The Millimeter is an alternate history political thriller exploring what might have happened if the assassination attempt had succeeded—a dark journey through conspiracy, political chaos, and ultimately civil war.
The Story
When President Trump is assassinated at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, three investigators independently discover evidence that the shooting was not the work of a lone gunman.
Marcus Cole is the Secret Service agent haunted by his failure to prevent the shooting. He discovers security protocols were deliberately compromised.
Sarah Brennan is the investigative journalist whose pursuit of the truth makes her a target of the very forces she's trying to expose.
David Chen is the FBI cyber analyst whose findings on the digital breadcrumbs put him and his family in danger.
As they dig deeper, they uncover a conspiracy that reaches the highest levels of government, setting America on a path toward fracture and civil war.
Why I Wrote This
I'm not trying to make a political statement. I'm not cheering for any outcome. I'm exploring a question that kept me awake at night: What if?
We all witnessed that moment in July 2024. We all saw how close we came to a different reality. This book is my attempt to explore that alternate timeline—not as wish fulfillment or political fantasy, but as a genuine examination of what conspiracy, chaos, and consequences might look like.
This isn't a book about Trump. It's a book about power, truth, and the fragility of democracy. It's about ordinary people trying to do the right thing in extraordinary circumstances. It's about the thin line between the world we know and the one we fear.
A Note on Providence
One of the core themes in The Millimeter is divine providence. That millimeter represents something bigger than luck. Throughout the novel, I explore the question of God's hand in history—and what happens when that hand is absent.
Fair Warning
This book isn't for everyone. If you're looking for a light read, this isn't it. If you're uncomfortable with alternate history or political thrillers, you might want to skip this one.
But if you're willing to explore a dark "what if," if you appreciate a thriller that asks hard questions, and if you can handle 600 pages of conspiracy, betrayal, and civil war, I think you'll find The Millimeter compelling.
Get Your Copy
The Millimeter is available now in Kindle, Paperback, and on Apple Books and other retailers.
I wrote this book knowing some people would hate it. I wrote it anyway because I believe the questions it asks are worth exploring.
Thank you for taking this journey with me.
